There is ample parking in the lot between the church and the Whaley Park Community Center on Atherton. There is also street parking in front of the church.

We would love to have you worship with us! If you are visiting us for the first time, here are directions and parking information.

We are an Open and Affirming congregation of the United Church of Christ, whose motto is “No matter who you are or where you are on life’s journey, you are welcome here.” We are a community of spiritual seekers who believe that God has called us to be in covenant together, supporting one another and working together to do God’s work in our world.

What is worship like at Los Altos UCC?

THE WORSHIP SERVICE

We have gone paperless for the worship service, while there aren’t any paper bulletins, the information is up on the monitors throughout the service.

A musical prelude prepares our hearts and minds for worship. The service follows with a musical anthem, prayers, a sermon and hymns. Sometimes the mood is quiet and contemplative and at other times it is exuberant and spirit-filled.

In every service, you will hear a compelling and challenging message that nourishes your mind as much as your soul. We make our message relevant to daily life, no matter where you are on life’s journey.

Following the anthem, children are welcome to join us for Sunday School.

Childcare

Childcare is available for young children in Room #1 beginning at 9:30 am. An usher will be happy to accompany you to the room.
